"I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my Webco-sponsored G.A.P. Peru adventure. I doubt many hikes can match the visual splendors of the Inca Trail, where every day brought new landscapes, unusual flora, remote ruins and stunning vistas. The expedition was very well organized, with a knowledgeable local English-speaking guide and a hard-working, friendly troop of cooks and porters. Descending through the clearing clouds into the shimmering jewel that is Machu Picchu on the last day on the trail was an unforgettable moment. Fortunately, the trip continued to Cuzco, where good timing allowed us to participate in the annual Inti Raymi festival, a visual spectacle of colorful Inca costumes, music and pageantry.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending this trip to anyone of reasonable stamina, looking for a unique cultural adventure."
